Also known as ose-dudu or ncha nkota, this soap is handcrafted using just two time-honored ingredients: palm ash and unrefined red palm oil. Palm ash helps cleanse and gently exfoliate, while red palm oil helps prevent over-drying during cleansing, leaving skin feeling clean, balanced, and refreshed.

The Best!

A few years back, I purchased African black soap from a local hair store...you know the ones that sell weaves, wigs, black hair care products, braiding hair, etc. (IYKYK). That soap broke my skin out in horrible rashes and burned my skin so badly that I swore off African Black soap. My daughter convinced me to try Bellanomi's brand by saying that she's seen videos of the owner's actually travelling to Africa to get quality ingredients. Also, since I've tried other things from this brand I figured it may be safe to do so. I am so glad I did!!!! This soap did not burn my skin at all and I did not break out in any rashes. My skin is clean and doesn't feel stripped of any moisture. I used it on all parts of my body from my face, down to my toes and had no irritation at all. You can most definitely smell the ash but it's not entirely unpleasant. One reviewer stated the soap was a "crumbly mess" and I initially thought the same thing because it was coming apart during my first suds up with my bath towel. What I've learned is that you have to thoroughly wet it, get it to suds up really good and the crumbly texture will be a thing of the past; no parts of it were crumbling and breaking off during subsequent bath sessions. I bought this about 20+ days ago and I still have soap left so I think the price isn't too bad for what you get. I will most definitely order again and I am so glad that I gave African Black Soap another try! Thank you Bellanomi for making a good, quality product. Now that I've had the best, the rest will never do :)

I bought the Shea butter in the soap for my son and he loves it. That’s why come I bought it because he loves the way it makes his skin feel. He loves that is clearing his skin up and also to buy black products. That’s and that was another reason why I come I bought it Thank you for that. Please let me know when you all have more of the soap because he’s almost out. He takes showers three times a day so yeah thank you
